Inxile Entertainment announced Clockwork Revolution / Photo – Inxile EntertainmentThe Xbox Games Showcase showed the trailer for RPG Clockwork Revolution from Inxile Entertainment, founded by Brian Fargo, the creator of the first Fallout and Baldur’s Gate.
The game was first announced on the show in 2023 and transferred the players to a fictional Utopia in 1895, where he will have to dive into the world of corruption in trying to change the future.
The new video emphasized on the customization of the character, enemies you want to send to the knockout, and an interesting game element – time manipulation. This mechanics will be useful for both the advantage in battle and to change the past for the sake of saving the future, it seems to be the key to the game.
Clockwork Revolution promises the processed dialogues like Fallout, and the action will unfold in the tenant, the underworld of the beautiful city of Avalon, which is ruled by Lady Aronwood, which controls the threads of time.
The game is clearly inspired by the Bioshock Infinite atmosphere and will be available from the first day of the Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
There is no exact date of the exit yet – they promise that the game will turn out “in due time.”
Earlier, the Xbox Games Showcase Obsidian showed a new trailer for The Outer Worlds 2 and announced a release date.
