American officials and diplomats are convinced that Russia has not yet completed a campaign of blows in response to Ukraine’s bold operation.

According to one of the officials, the answer will be asymmetrical – that is, its goals and character will not be a mirror response to Ukraine’s actions. Another American official stated that the blow could be caused in the coming days, but the exact time is unknown.
On Friday, Russia has already carried out a large -scale shelling of Kiev, which in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was called a response to “Ukrainian terrorist acts”. However, in the US, this shelling is considered only the beginning of a larger campaign.
Western diplomats suggest that future strikes can be aimed at symbolic goals in Ukraine, such as government buildings or objects of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
“It will be a huge, cruel and ruthless attack. But Ukrainians are brave people,” one of the diplomats said.
The Carnegie Foundation expert Michael Coffman predicts likely attacks on the SBU headquarters or defense enterprises, although it emphasizes Russia’s limited capabilities for escalation. Coffman says:
”Most likely, they will try to strike at the SBU headquarters or other regional intelligence agencies … In general, Russia’s ability to significantly strengthen the blows compared to what it is doing-and tries to do in the last month-is quite limited. “
The spider web operation is the latest newsAs reported by UNIAN, US President Donald Trump justified Russia’s terrorist attacks on Ukraine, saying that this was Moscow’s response to Ukrainian shocks in aerodromes. At the same time, he expressed his hope that after such attacks of Ukraine, the war would not develop into nuclear conflict.
Instead, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russian truck drivers, from which drones were launched, did not know about their participation in the special operation. He also noted that the operation itself used exclusively weapons of Ukrainian production.
