BFL.Pro League founder Mykola Kravchenko He gave an exclusive interview for Sport.ua.
– Tell us, how did you come up with a joint boxing and kickboxing evening with TBG?
– Vlad and I met during the tournament in Prague and from that moment we began to hold the events in Kiev and then we liked it. We generally “came in” such an idea that here we can combine different types of martial arts and now we have decided to repeat it.
– How do you evaluate the TBG promotional and its prospects?
– I believe that Top Boxing Generation in Ukraine is the best south. Why? Because they spend 5-6 events a year, both large and small. Plus, this promotional is already known all over the world, so I appreciate them very well.
– The level of boxers and kickboxers, which will be at the boxing evening on Saturday. How did you manage to gather such fighters?
– As for boxing, it is the merit of Vlad Yeliseyev, I am very grateful to him, because he took on this difficult job and selection of fighters. As for kickboxing, we did it very quickly, because I am kickboxer myself and I know our representatives of this sport well.
– What is the match that is the most powerful for you at this evening?
-For me in boxing, the most interesting battle is a jar-a weave, well, Maine-Ivan Yanis is a shark, and in kickboxing-shepherd-Gurov and Mikhailitsa-Skurikhin, it will be a top match.
– What is your prediction for Skurikhin’s battle – Michael?
– I believe that Michaelts will win, although Skurikhin is also a very good fighter. But, such a duel will be very beautiful and powerful. In general, I want to thank the good work of Kickboxing and Thai Boxing of Ukraine. Thanks to them, we have such fighters.
– How important is this evening to develop Ukrainian boxing?
– This is a very interesting event for kickboxing, because it will be with boxing, broadcasting around the world, and DAZN will show. Although, kickboxing tournaments were still good tournaments.
– Is charitable auctions planned during boxing?
– Yes, of course, there will be auctions, there will be very interesting lots and people will be able to support our military.
– Recently, information that boxing will be broadcast on DAZN. How important is it for Ukrainian boxing and what do you think about it?
– I think it is very cool and the more the world will see that despite the situation in the country, we have strong people, we have time to fight and develop Ukrainian sports.
– Are you planning further bfl.pro and TBG boxing evenings and what are your future plans in general?
– Let’s see how kickboxing comes with boxing, if everything is good, we will continue to combine these two sports and spend such evenings. If you do not like it very much for the fans, then we will, together with TBG, spend boxing evenings and, accordingly, kickboxing tournaments separately. Well, I want to add that if everything is good, then in August we want to hold a tournament with MMA, because in my league there is still this direction and there are very good fighters.
