Today is a professional holiday of media workers of Ukraine – journalist Day. It was established by the Presidential Decree of May 25, 1994. The document states that the journalist’s Day is celebrated annually on the day of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine to the International Federation of Journalists, which took place in 1992.
