Simone Indozagi officially headed Al-Hill, signing a two-year agreement with Saudi Grand. For a 48-year-old trainer, this is the first experience outside Italy, and he does not hide the joy of a new challenge. After signing the contract, the trainer shared his emotions.

“I am very happy to get this new experience. I always wanted to train abroad, as in Italy, and Al-Hillal is an opportunity for my career. I know this club because we are familiar with Arab football, we often played here in Saudi Arabia.

Football in Saudi Arabia is developing, there are wonderful teams, football is constantly improving, and foreign players and trainers bring new qualities. I studied the history of the club a lot, and I wanted to try myself outside Italy. The club has millions of fans, and each match collects the full stadium.

I have wonderful memories of Inter and how I was treated. Now our paths have dispersed, but there will always be great respect and mutual love between us, “said Indzagi.

The contract was signed by 2027 with a salary of 25 million euros + bonuses per season.
