“Recently, the number of cases where the enemy is represented by a” SBU employee “and sets criminal tasks that must be fulfilled” in the interests of the Ukrainian state. ” This is the so -called technique of special operations “under someone else’s flag”, which is not actually used by Russian invaders, but which they are actively trying to apply now, ” – said in the message.
The SBU is said to have prevented several similar attempts over the last weeks.
“Also, the tactics of recruitment, which are increasingly used by Russian special services, is that citizens of messengers are sent a summons with a requirement to appear for questioning to the investigator of the SBU due to the allegedly open criminal proceedings. Usually a fictional reason for this “case” is the purchase of “prohibited goods in Ukraine”. After that, unknown persons contact the phone with the citizen and offer assistance in the “closing of criminal proceedings”, – the SBU noted.
According to such “assistance”, Russian special services require their tasks: to monitor the movement of a person; move unknown items from one address to another; make a money transfer to an unknown card that is allegedly an account for the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces; buy the necessary chemical elements and make a homemade explosive device; to arson the auto of the forces of defense or administrative building; Diversion.

In case of receiving suspicious stories or contacts with unknown people who are represented by the SBU staff, the Security Service is advised to contact the official chatbot of the service or report to the hotline.
Earlier this month, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine warned on June 2 that the Russian special services intensified attempts to recruit citizens of Ukraine in order to involve them in illegal activities in the territory of the European Union.
