The SBU detained the attacker “hot” while trying to visual intelligence near one of the military facilities. During the search, the operatives removed the phone with evidence of cooperation with the FSB.
According to investigators, Russian intelligence services came to the person involved in his anti-Ukrainian comments in pro-Russian Telegram channels. During recruitment, he was promised a monetary “reward” and a further “evacuation” on a temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region, where he intended to join the Russian combat units.
The agent did not receive financial promises. Instead, he was suspected of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law.
The man is threatened with life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
