Of all these people, 273 were captured in Donetsk region, much in 2022, also from the territories of Kherson. 697 Ukrainians at home.

Details: At the same time, the President emphasized that the task is to release absolutely anyone who is now held in Russia, “and this task is common to our intelligence, for our diplomats, for our entire state.”
The President also mentioned Russian shelling of Kiev and other cities and stressed that “Russia fills with grief, murders every day, simply delayed the war.” He called on the United States, Europe and other partners to a tough reaction.
“Ukraine is ready for any form of diplomacy that will give results. We are ready for all steps that will guarantee real security. Russia is not ready for anything. The next week should be a time of activity for a new pressure on Russia, that is, for peace,” he said.

- On Friday, Ukraine and Russia held the first part of an agreement to exchange 1000 by 1000, in which 390 people were able to return. Of these, 270 military and 120 civilians.
- On Saturday, another 307 Ukrainian defenders were returned from Russian captivity. They are all men of ordinary and sergeant.
