Migrants and Ukrainians abroad will be able to receive pensions not only in Savings Bank

The Government, together with the Ministry of Social Policy, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, and with the active assistance of public organizations, have implemented a number of key changes aimed at simplifying the procedure for obtaining pensions and undergoing physical identification. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Social Policy.

– This applies to citizens who have left the temporarily occupied territories (Tot) and live in the territories controlled by Ukraine, Ukrainians living directly to the Tot and those who are temporarily abroad. These steps are a response to martial laws and are aimed at ensuring uninterrupted payments, – the statement reads.

One of the main innovations was the expansion of the possibilities of obtaining pensions for citizens who left temporarily occupied territories and reside in the territory controlled by Ukraine, or for those who are still on the TT.

• From now on, the pension can be obtained from any bank that has the appropriate permit, not just a Savings Bank. This applies to all pensioners regardless of the date of their movement or the status of an internally displaced person.
• Pensions can be received through any authorized bank in Ukraine, in Ukrposhta branches or with home delivery. There are several ways to change the bank: a personal visit to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the application through the PFU’s webport or an appeal to the selected bank with the relevant application.
• For pensioners who remain on the tot or temporarily located outside Ukraine, special conditions are provided: the annual passing of the procedure of physical identification by December 31; Conducting expenditures using a bank account bank card at least every six months.

– Important! For pensioners who have left the temporarily occupied territories or remain on the tot, it is necessary to inform the Pension Fund of Ukraine that they do not receive a pension from the Russian Federation. This is carried out in the application for appointment / renewal / continuation of the payment of the pension or in the application in an arbitrary form, – added in the department.

• On May 19, the Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernyshov reported that the Cabinet of Ministers regulated the issue of enrollment of periods of work abroad when appointing a pension by age.
• On May 15, the Verkhovna Rada approved in the second reading and in general the law on amendments to certain legislative acts governing the peculiarities of payment of pensions to persons convicted of criminal offenses against the basics of national security, public order, peace, security of humanity and international law.
