According to the investigation, the Kharkiv resident worked as the head of the charity. She offered a serviceman “assistance” in the passage of all necessary procedures for a diagnosis that would allow him to be declared unfit for military service.
For a bribe, she promised to organize hospitalization, registration of medical directions, establish a diagnosis and obtain the status of a person with a disability, and for her “services” asked $ 4,700.
The woman argued that it has an impact on Kharkiv medical institutions and can make the necessary decisions. She accompanied the serviceman personally to the doctors personally – agreed on receptions, made phone calls to officials and guaranteed a successful resolution of the issue of declaring him unfit for further service.
Medical examinations were held in the presence of the suspect, and the referrals and other documents were issued without proper medical examination, analyzes and reasonable grounds.
For her services, the suspect received from the military the first part of an undue benefit of $ 200, and the next day – the rest of the amount of $ 4,500.
The woman was detained in the order of Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine, the issue of choosing a pre -trial detention is resolved.
Investigation is currently underway, measures are being taken to establish other persons who may be involved in committing the said criminal offense, in particular among the medical staff of health care institutions.
