President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the President of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Lien for the 17th package of sanctions against Russia and discussed the preparation for the next.

According to Zelensky, he thanked Ursula von Der Liaen and the European Union (EU) for the 17th package of sanctions against Russia and noted that it was a step in the right direction.
“It is important to severely limit the Russian tanker fleet that serves as a funding of murders, as well as all the schemes used by Russia to build the military industry. The more pressure on Russia, the more there will be motives in Moscow to go to a real peace, ”he added.
The President noted that the parties also discussed the preparation for the next EU sanctions against Russia. He added that the most painful points for the Kremlin are oil, energy infrastructure, banks, and financial schemes.
