The next tournament for Diana and Martha will be the French Championship. The drawing of the main grid Rolan Garros will take place on May 22.
Yastremskaya and Kostyuk played more than once in his career together in one couple, including at the 2024 Olympics. However, then there were small differences between them.
On July 30, 2024, Marta won a difficult victory over Maria Sakkari in the third round of a single category of OI. On the same day, Kostyuk and Yastremskaya had to hold a match of the 1/8 finals of a paired tournament, but because of the fatigue and by Martha’s decision, the Ukrainian tandem did not go out for the match.
Yastremskaya after stating that to give up the game was the decision of Martha, who wanted to focus on a lonely, and Diana herself was ready to play even with a shoulder injury.
After the incident Martha with Diana, they never played together in one couple, but apparently, there was no (and maybe not at all) quarrels.
