Victoria Furtune, a representative of the band of the odious Moldovan fugitive oligarch, Ilan Schora, has publicly appealed to return Moldova Budzhak, a historical and geographical region, which is now part of the South of the Odessa region.
She published her statement in her own Telegram channel, emphasizing the need to “revise the borders” and restore Moldova’s access to the sea.
According to her, the country is “crippled by the boundaries under the ruler”, and the lack of access to the sea compared to the “lion on the tie”.
Furtune argues that Moldova has the right to demand Budzhak’s return, because, in her opinion, “there is no international treaty ratified by Moldova, where she would recognize the loss of Budzhak.”
She called for the creation of “Great Moldova”, the return of “stolen name, history, language and access to the sea.” Such statements were made against the backdrop of growth of pro -Russian sentiment in the region and intensification of the influence of Kremlin structures in Moldova.
In the past, Victoria Furtune worked as a prosecutor, and last year during the election campaign, she removed a video with a dove in her hands in the heart of Tiraspol, the capital of the unrecognized Transnistria.
Her activities have been repeatedly linked to Ilan Schora’s group, which is currently hiding in Moscow and remains an important figure for Kremlin influences in Moldova.
Furtune did not deny her connection with the Shore, stating that she did not consider such support to be a crime.
Recall that Moldova President, May Sandu, considers it real to complete the negotiations on entry into the EU in late 2027.
