Vitaliy Maksimenko heads the All -Ukrainian Federation of Battle on a short blade. But behind it is a number of scandals, court decisions, suspicion of violence, illegal circulation of weapons and, probably, connections with hostile structures.
Several criminal proceedings were opened against Maksimenko. There are 7 of them. In court registers, you can find dozens of decisions that record cases of violence, intimidation, extortion, beating, penetration to housing without permission, violation of court regulations. Despite This is not all suspected of Maksimenko.
According to the sources in law enforcement agencies, attempts were recorded in investigators, delaying cases, as well as the discrediting campaigns of the victims, including by sending anonymous applications to international organizations.
There is reason to believe that Maksimenko can be involved in the illegal circulation of weapons and explosives. This is imposed on his role in a structure that declares connection with combat training and veteran movement – “All -Ukrainian Federation of Battle on a short blade.”
The journalistic investigation revealed that Maksimenko probably hid his second citizenship – Russian, and could have contacts with representatives of the criminal environment and unidentified persons related to the Russian Federation.
Maksimenko heads a public organization that has repeatedly positioned herself as a partner of the defense and sports sector. However, according to the facade of sports – an incomprehensible source of funding, opaque structure, lack of real results of probable “combat training”.
The logical question arises: is this federation a real sports association, or a tool for legalization of access to weapons, impact in the defense environment and creating a personal “roof”?
This investigation is another reminder: access to weapons and ties with the authorities do not make a person safe for society. On the contrary, it can make it – especially dangerous.
