Chinese robots service Baidu plans to go to the European market in 2025

The Apollo Go Robots Service, which is owned by the Baidu Chinese technology company, plans to expand its business to Europe in 2025. About it reports CNBC.

According to anonymous sources, within the next few months, Apollo Go intends to register a company in Switzerland and start work in this country, as well as in Turkey. Baidu is currently refrain from comments on this.

Apollo Go launched its fully autonomous taxi service in China in 2019. It is now available in Beijing and several other Chinese cities. In 2024, the company presented Apollo Adfm, which according to Baidu, is the first in the world system of autonomous driving level 4.

In March 2025, the company also reported plans to expand its service in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and last week Baidu stated that Apollo Go was testing in Hong Kong.

One of the competitors of Apollo Go, Pony.ai earlier this month declared the start of a strategic partnership with Uber to run his cars in the US on the company. Pony.ai also plans to expand its presence in the Middle East later.

Tesla, which is also preparing to go to the autonomous taxi market, earlier stated that it would launch its work work in June 2025.
