Compared to March 2025, the level of trust in the President increased by 5 percentage points (from 69% to 74%), while the level of distrust decreased from 28% to 22%. Accordingly, the balance has improved from +41% to +52%.

Sociologists point out that in all regions of Ukraine, the majority of the population express confidence in the President, and, according to the survey, the difference in indicators is not significant.

Trust in President V. Zelensky in the regional dimension

Literally sociologists: “In all regions of Ukraine, the majority of the population trust the President and trust indicators are quite close. Against the background, others are somewhat different, where the level of trust is a little lower. However, even in the region, 60% trust the President (in other regions-75-77%), do not trust-33% (in other regions).”

Reference: Omnibus Public Opinion, was conducted May 2-12to which, on his own initiative, the question of Zelensky’s trust added. The method of telephone interviews based on a random sample of mobile telephone numbers in all regions of Ukraine (controlled by the Government) was interviewed by 1010 respondents. The survey was conducted with adults (at the age of 18 and older) by citizens of Ukraine who lived in the territory of Ukraine, which was controlled by the government at the time of the survey.

Residents that are not temporarily controlled by the authorities of Ukraine were not included in the sample (at the same time some of the respondents – IDPs who moved from the occupied territories), and the survey was not conducted with citizens who left abroad after February 24, 2022.

Formally, in normal circumstances, the statistical error of such sample (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect 1.3) did not exceed 4.1% for indicators close to 50%, 3.5% for indicators close to 25%, 2.5% – for indicators close to 10%, 1.8% – for indicators.

Under the war, in addition to the formal error, some systematic deviation is added.
