In Dnipropetrovsk, the Security Service of Ukraine detained another agent of Russian special services. The man acted in one of the hottest directions of the front – Pokrovsky.

According to the investigation, the main task of the man was to identify combat positions of Ukrainian units and the transfer of coordinates to the Russian army for strikes.
The agent was a 52-year-old resident of the frontier village in the Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region, he was recruited through his relative, who lives in the Russian Federation and has already cooperated with the occupiers.
Receiving tasks from FSB curators, the agent personally bypassed the outskirts near the front line, fixing the location of Ukrainian artillery and mortar units. In addition, the man tried to “trust” in the Armed Forces fighters to receive information from them under the cover of a regular conversation.
In addition, the man transmitted data on the movement of armored vehicles, logistics routes, ammunition depots and other military infrastructure of defense forces.
For his successful “work”, the FSB promised him an “evacuation” to Russia and a safe life on the control of the territory. The actions of the agent were documented after his detention in the city of Kamyanskoe, Dnipropetrovsk region.
The man has already been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law. The suspect is currently in custody and is threatened with life imprisonment.
Earlier, law enforcement officers detained the FSB agents of the Russian Federation who were looking for a base of the third assault brigade. They were preparing new blows in the Kiev and Rivne regions.
Earlier, the SBU was detained in Chernihiv addict, who was recruited by the Russians for sabotage. The attacker faces up to 10 years in prison.
Earlier, the SBU and police detained five associates of Russian special services, which organized the arson of Ukrzaliznytsia and Ukrposhta in Kyiv, Vinnytsia and Sumy regions. They are threatened with life imprisonment.
