On May 14, 2025, the Spanish law enforcement officers detained the former first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Gladkovsky.
This was reported by the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP).
He is suspected of the state of losses of more than UAH 17 million due to schemes with the purchase of trucks for the army at inflated prices.
The issue of its extradition to Ukraine for further investigation and trial is currently being resolved.
According to the investigation, Gladkovsky, using his official position, contributed to the acquisition of undue benefit by Bogdan Motors, in which he and his family have a share of property.
Investigators claim that it was through these equipment that the state suffered losses of UAH 17.44 million.
He was suspected of abusing power and declaring false information in 2019, after which the court chose a pre -trial detention measure with the possibility of bail.
After the pledge, Gladkovsky left the pre -trial detention center, but then stopped appearing to court. In April 2024, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court announced him on the international wanted list.
Journalists have repeatedly recorded Gladkovsky’s departures abroad under various reasons, and his family, according to investigations, infected into elite real estate in Spain.
Oleg Gladkovsky is an ancient business partner of the fifth President Petro Poroshenko. He repeatedly declared “politically motivated persecution” and rejected all the accusations.
