There were 133 battles from the beginning of the day – the General Staff of the Armed Forces

From the beginning of the day, 133 combat clashes took place on the front on May 12, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported.

“Russian invaders have struck 45 aviation blows, dropping 79 managed aviation bombs. In addition, 1140 Kamikadze drones were involved and 3987 shellings were carried out on the positions of our troops and settlements, ”-said at 22:00.

More than a third of the fighting is recorded in the Pokrovsky direction in Donetsk region.

“In the Pokrovsky direction from the beginning of this era, the enemy attacked in the areas of settlements Nova Poltavka, Mirolyubivka, Ray, Lisivka, Mirnograd, Lucky, Novosergiyivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyarivka, Trinity, Andriyivka, Stai Nikolaevka, Baliivka, Elizabka Ants, Alekseevka, dawn and puppy ravine. Our defenders stopped 50 assault enemy actions. Pokrovsk, Poltavka, Illinivka, Sukiy Yar were in the direction of the Air Force, ”the Ukrainian military reports.

The fighting also lasted in Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lymansky, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Novopavlovsky, Orikhiv, and Dnieper directions.

“In the Kursk direction, nine attacks of the enemy have taken place since the beginning of the day, one of which has been ongoing, and the enemy has inflicted 13 air strikes, having dropped 14 Cab, carried out 228 artillery shelling, including eight from the RSLS,” – indicate the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is mainly recorded there.
