For future graduate students, the entrance exam was introduced / photos of ua.depositphotos.comThis year, a separate entrance examination on the methodology of scientific research in the form of external independent evaluation will be introduced for postgraduate studies, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mikhail Vinnytskyi said in an interview with the mirror of the week.
According to him, future graduate students will create centralized electronic offices and in the case of successful passing of the exam will be admitted before entrance tests in higher education institutions.
“Is it a 100 % barrier to corruption during joining postgraduate studies? No. At the level of establishments, unfortunately, they can continue to select, relatively speaking, their own, but this mechanism is exactly better than the one that has worked so far,” the official said.
He reported that this year, as well as the past, the full -time form in graduate school will be only by government order.
“If a person wants to enter into a contract, he or she can choose a correspondence form. Budget places in graduate school by industries and certain objective criteria will be distributed. The number of seats in each institution will depend on what are the publications of employees, opportunities to provide scientific management, which have been in the past.

According to a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science, if last year the cost of studying on an average of 35-38 thousand hryvnias a year, then this year it is expected that the cost will reach at 50 thousand hryvnias. It is noted that about the same number of the state spends budget students.
In addition, it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has changed the rules of preparation for graduate students and doctoral students: from this year, they have a compulsory exam in Ukrainian and foreign languages in the third year. Deputy Minister of Education Mikhail Vinnytsky explained that there was now a need to check that such people are really graduate students, that they are undergoing an educational component in graduate school, that they write articles, continue to work on their dissertation.
