In Chernihiv, law enforcement officers detained a man who threatened the employees of the territorial center of staffing and social support with a knife.

“Police opened criminal proceedings on the threat of physical violence to the servicemen of the Tax Code and JV. The attacker was promptly searched and detained, ”the message reads.
The incident happened in the morning of May 8. The police received a report that in Chernihiv, an unknown man refused to provide documents for checking during alerting of citizens by TCC and JV. The suspect behaved aggressively, grabbed a knife and began to threaten him, and then fled.
Law enforcement officers promptly searched the suspect. He was a 38-year-old resident. During a personal examination, he was discovered and seized two knives, and material evidence was already passed for examination.
Police detained the attacker, and criminal proceedings were opened against him under Part 1 of Art. 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (threat or violence against an official). The sanction of the article provides for the restriction of liberty up to three years.
The pre -trial investigation is currently underway.
