President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Ukraine is ready as soon as possible, though from today, to move to the ceasefire. This requires that Russia is ready for mirror steps. The Head of State stated this in his traditional evening address.
– We are ready as soon as possible, although from today to move to the ceasefire, if Russia is ready for mirror steps – to full silence, for a long silence for at least 30 days. It An honest term when you can prepare such steps. Russia should stop the war and stop storms, stop shelling. To date, the intensity of Russian blows does not testify to anything except the Russian desire to fight. Every night under a hundred “Shahaned”. Only one this week, on Monday to Saturday, more than 950 Russian aviation, – said Zelensky.
The President added that intense battles in the Pokrovsky direction, in other Donetsk directions, are daily. Ukrainians respond to the enemy throughout the front, as well as in the Kursk and Belgorod regions where activity is retained.
Zelensky also spoke about preparation for important foreign policy events – meetings, negotiations. He intends to ask partners to increase the pressure on the Kremlin to force the Russian Federation to agree on a long silence. The President added that now no one sees such readiness of Russia – on the contrary, all their internal rhetoric, rather, mobilization, and Russian propagandists continue to threaten not only Ukraine but also other neighbors – in particular, Lithuania and other Baltic countries.
