Former commander of the 211 Ponton-brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Oleg Berezhnyuk, who has not reacted to the facts of bullying from subordinate servicemen, has been in custody since the end of December 2024.

Prehistory:

• On December 16, 2024, Ukrainian Pravda published an investigation into abuse of military, extortion and corruption in the 211st Pontoon-brick brigade of the Armed Forces.
• On December 17, the DBR staff began investigating criminal proceedings to identify possible facts of use by officials 211 pontoon-brigade of non-statutory measures of influence and violence against subordinates. The commander of this part, Oleg Barezhnyuk, was informed about suspicion of abuse of office.
• On December 19, the Ternopil Court sent detractor with the possibility of making a bail in the amount of 908 400 UAH. The next day, he made a certain pledge and got out of custody.
• On December 29, the State Bureau of Investigation Bureau was detained and reported to the inaction of the military power of the Combrig, who did not respond to the facts of bullying from subordinate servicemen.
• On December 30, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv sent a detachment for a pledge of more than UAH 12 million.
