    • History makerLuke Littler has BROKEN the record for the most nightly wins in a Premier League Darts season, winning his fifth in Birmingham.

The Nuke sits at the top of the Premier League Darts table, and is the first player to mathematically secure his spot at the O2 in May.

However, a play-off spot is not enough for The Nuke, as he wants to go into finals day on top of the league.

    • Match result: Luke Littler 6-4 Michael van GerwenHISTORY!

Luke Littler has won a record breaking FIFTH night of Premier League Darts action.

A missed dart at 12 has cost almost Littler, but MvG showed no composure as he missed double 20 and double 10.

Littler nails double 20, and wins another night.

    • Luke Littler* 5-4 Michael van GerwenLittler put the afterburners on in that leg, with The Nuke having a few darts at a finish before MvG even got down to one.

Double 20 was a pain for him again, but the double 10 came to the rescue, and clutched up for Littler.

    • Luke Littler 4-4 Michael van Gerwen*Littler got the crowd excited on 164, nailing treble 20 and 18, but he could not find the bull.

As such, Van Gerwen behind him then nails double 8, and we are back on level terms here.

    • Luke Littler* 4-3 Michael van GerwenA cruel game for MvG, he goes five into a nine dart leg, but Littler is the one who takes the lead.

A unorthodox double 13 finish from Littler, but they all count.

    • Luke Littler 3-3 Michael van Gerwen*Well, MvG misses double tops, and then Littler nails it.

Van Gerwen has started to slow down here, and after being in control of the early going, has given up the throw.

    • Luke Littler* 2-3 Michael van GerwenA Shanghai finish for Littler, and he finally puts aside his differences with double 20.

      He goes 20-treble 20-double 20 for a fine checkout.

    • Luke Littler 1-3 Michael van Gerwen*There seems to be a bit of respect between Michael van Gerwen and double tops.

It is like there’s a magnet between his darts and the double 20 segment, he wins a third leg on double 20 of this final.

    • Luke Littler* 1-2 Michael van GerwenLittler misses double 20 again, will do no wonders for his confidence at all.

However, with two darts in hand, he nails double 10, and finally finishes a leg.

    • Luke Littler 0-2 Michael van Gerwen*Littler almost takes out 132 on bull-bull, but can’t take double 16.

MvG wasting no time behind him, and takes double 20 to go 2-0 up.

Fine margins, if two darts land the other side of the wire for Littler, he is 2-0 up, not 2-0 down here.

    • Luke Littler* 0-1 Michael van GerwenA dart bounces out the board to start of Luke Littler, he’s had a few of them this evening so far.

Alas, he is to a finish before MvG, and has time to finish 146, so sets himself up on 52.

His finishing on tops is a problem again, as MvG is able to take it off him, and gets an early break.

    • How the table looks after the semi-finals

    • Luke Littler…33*
    • Luke Humphries…26
    • Gerwyn Price…22

    • Stephen Bunting…8
    • Michael van Gerwen is now guaranteed to finish the night inside the top four, crucial as we head towards the business end of the season.

*rising to 35 if he wins the final.

**rising to 22 if he wins the final.

    • The finalWe are due a first this evening, but that first remains to be seen.

There could be a first five-time nightly winner in Luke Littler, as he reaches a first final since night eight of Premier League Darts.

      OR

We could get a first Michael van Gerwen nightly win of the season, as he reaches his second nightly final of the season.

MvG would love five points tonight, looking to extend his lead over Nathan Aspinall.

    • Match result: Gerwyn Price 3-6 Michael van GerwenMvG lands a HUGE 180 at just the right time, edging ahead of Price on the scores, with Price throwing first.

A big 140 forces Price to go for the big fish, and he cannot take it out.

Van Gerwen’s first attempt at 80 goes wayward, and a second at 40 goes wide of the mark on double 10.

Price, in turn, cannot complete the 10 to 5 switch, and then MvG misses the double 5 for a single, meaning he has to split.

Price on 10 does the same, and it comes to MvG to finish 5 for the match.

All laughs between the pair as Chase the Sun blasts out of Birmingham.

    • Gerwyn Price 3-5 Michael van Gerwen*MvG is getting to finishes quicker than Price, but ever since the fifth leg, his finishing has been a bit lacklustre.

It is the turn of MvG to win a leg on double 2, and he goes within one, but even if Price holds this next leg, he will have the darts.

    • Gerwyn Price* 3-4 Michael van GerwenAfter starting the match extremely well, MvG is starting to slow down now, but he has a big enough gap to hold.

Price does not hit a huge roar after finishing on 5, ad he knows he has a lot to do here.

    • Gerwyn Price 2-4 Michael van Gerwen*The leg starts with another 9 teased, alas, it was for nothing.

MvG starting to look a bit reckless, but he still gets to a finish first, and has no problem taking out 84 to take a 4-2 lead.

    • Gerwyn Price* 2-3 Michael van GerwenMvG looks incredibly locked in here, with Price seemingly just another hurdle for the Dutchman tonight.

However, a 28 visit opens the door for Price on 110, and a first “GOWANNN” of the match from Price puts him back on track.

    • Gerwyn Price 1-3 Michael van Gerwen*100+ first visits for both players to start the leg, but Price is the only one to add a second 10+ visit second time.

However, on his third visit, it is 180 for MvG.

A sensational 118 finish sees MvG 3-1 up, with no big celebration to go with it.

    • Gerwyn Price* 1-2 Michael van GerwenPrice finally waking up, landing 180 to pressure MvG, who fires back with double treble 19.

The Welshman down to a finish first, and sets himself up for 40 again.

MvG puts on the pressure behind him with 100, but no problem on double 20 this time for Price.

    • Gerwyn Price 0-2 Michael van Gerwen*Price cannot rectify the previous leg, as MvG lands the first 180 of the match, and follows it up with 126, leaving him on 55 with Price still in the 300s.

He takes 15 and single 20 to leave 10, and on his second visit for a finish, takes out double 10.

    • Gerwyn Price* 0-1 Michael van GerwenPrice gets the better of the early exchanges, landing the better trebles of the pair.

However, MvG lands the the first double treble 20 visit.

It is Price who goes to a finish first, but with darts in hand, works his way down to 40.

He misses first time, and then second and third lands in the single segment of 20 and 10.

Price messes up again, single 5, and Van Gerwen picks his pocket with a 19 dart break of throw.
