The Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv extended the term of detention of former judge Alexei Tandir – at least until June 29, 2025.
About it reports “Public”.
All aspects of the process, including Witness Stanislav Taranichev, arrived at the meeting – one of the latter who have not yet been questioned. In total, according to the prosecutor Mikhail Domanitsky, at least 32 witnesses were stated in the case. One of them disappeared, one more was to testify in the near future, but the interrogation remains in question.
The prosecutor noted that the risks of the impact of a tandoor on witnesses and experts, as well as the possibility of hiding it, remain relevant. This position was supported by the lawyer of the victim Pavel Teslyuk.
Instead, the defense stated the court bias. The lawyer Oleg Yurchenko stated that the pressure on the witnesses allegedly exerts a tandoor, but the State Bureau of Investigation – in particular, from March, several of them have been searched because their testimony, according to the lawyer, did not argue.
Despite these arguments, the court left Tandir in custody. On May 27, it will be three years since his stay in the pre -trial detention center. The stage of interrogation of witnesses is currently underway, which has been delayed for a year and a half.
Earlier, we wrote that the High Antork had continued to be entrusted to the former chairman of the Supreme Court Vsevolod Knyazev’s duties. He should avoid communicating with witnesses, arriving on the first call of the investigator and refrain from traveling abroad
