According to Ukrinform, Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said.
“Today, the first Viceremier-Minister Yulia Sviridenko on the way to Washington. We are refining the final details with our American colleagues. Indeed, it is a strategic agreement on the creation of an investment fund, partnership. It is a really equal, good, international agreement on joint investment in the development and restoration of Ukraine between the US Government and the Government of Ukraine. As soon as all the final details have been finalized, in the near future, I hope that within the next day the agreement will be signed and accordingly we will get the first step, ”he said.
According to the prime minister, two more technical agreements are expected to be signed, as well as the creation of an investment fund, its financing and filling.
Recall that Ukraine and the US have been discussing the subsoil agreement for several months. It is planned to create an investment fund. It will be filled by the sale of Ukrainian minerals.
During the negotiations on the Nadra Agreement between Ukraine and the United States, it is not now about recognizing the debt for the help provided during the war.
On April 17, Ukraine and the US signed a memorandum that captures the intention to finalize the agreement favorable for both parties. The Ministry of Economy has published the text of the document that defines the basic principles of future cooperation.
