In Kharkiv, a schoolgirl set fire to two SUVs of the Armed Forces

Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed another minor in Kharkiv, which Russian special services were involved in criminal activity against Ukraine.

Details: According to the investigation, no later than July 31, 2024, a schoolgirl from Kharkiv, who was 15 years old at that time, was influenced by Russian representatives through the Telegram. The girl was asked to set fire to the Ukrainian military cars for cash.

She recorded the crimes on the mobile phone camera and sent a video to the Russian curator through the messenger.

Instead of promised funds from the Russian Federation, the malefactor received suspicion of Ukrainian law enforcement officers and the prospect of prison imprisonment.

On the basis of the evidence collected, the SBU investigators informed the involvement of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (deliberate destruction of another’s property by arson).

For such a crime, the guilty faces up to 10 years in prison.

Also, the actions taken by it fall under the signs of Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

Given her age, a girl cannot be criminally responsible for this crime. However, law enforcement officers resolve the issue of appeal to the court for application to a minor compulsory educational measures.
