The General Directorate of Intelligence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the evacuation of Ukrainian with two children from Syria. In total, Ukraine evacuated 14 women and 41 children from the Syrian camp “Rog”.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga on the social network X.
“On the instructions of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky Foreign Ministry, another citizen of Ukraine and two of her children from Syria, where they were kept in the camp for six years, were evacuated together with GUR,” the Foreign Minister said.
According to him, the woman and two children were issued passports and provided consistently so that they would safely return home.
Sibiga said that in total, Ukraine evacuated 14 women and 41 children from the Rog camp – all the citizens who wanted to leave. People were evacuated from Syria through Lebanon.
