In the Russian Federation under 27 years, a Ukrainian from Melitopol was condemned by the lattice – for trying to poison the graduates of the flight school

The Southern District Military Court in the Russian Rostov-on-Don sentenced to 27 years the imprisonment of a native of Melitopol Yegor Semenov in an attempt to poison the graduates of the Harmavir Higher Military Aviation School. He was found guilty of a terrorist attack using toxic substances and treason, Media Azona reports.

For the first five years he should be in prison, the rest in the strict regime colony. The state prosecution requested his life imprisonment.

According to the investigation, former cadets of the school celebrated the 20th anniversary of the issue on October 21 at the Tsar Hunting restaurant. 77 people were present at the meeting. The Kommersant newspaper wrote that during the banquet, a courier entered the restaurant hall, which brought a cake with the school’s emblem and several bottles of whiskey. He said he delivered gifts from one of the graduates who could not come to the meeting but did not specify his name. It seemed suspicious, so they did not eat a cake. Later, according to the publication, it found a high concentration of medicines that can cause cardiac arrest.

Semenova was initially detained in administrative business on small hooliganism and arrested for 15 days. This is a standard practice in Russia in recent years: arrest under the article on hooliganism allows you to isolate the suspect in the pre -trial detention center and achieve it, including torture, the necessary testimony.

A Baza telegram-close channel wrote that Semenov was detained at the Stavropol Airport at the request of Armavir operatives-the man tried to fly to Moscow.

Yegor Semenov became a Russian citizen in 2022 after Melitopol’s occupation. There is no reports of his withdrawal from Ukrainian citizenship.
