The bill provides for a significant, 50 times, increasing penalties for violation of the rules of protection and use of protected areas:
- For individuals, the fine will be from 8.5 thousand to 17 thousand UAH;
- for officials – from 17 thousand to 25.5 thousand UAH.
Currently, the amount of the fine for citizens is from 153 to 408 UAH, and for officials – from 255 to 510 UAH.

According to her, the bill takes into account the new environmental restrictions provided by the law adopted in January this year, which significantly limited the possibility of movement by vehicles in the protected areas.
