Russia tries to deceive the US and the whole world – Zelensky

In the address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that yesterday’s meetings in the Vatican and Rome confirmed that our partners understand what was happening. He noted that Ukraine is holding strong positions so that there are all opportunities for proper diplomacy.

– The Russians say a lot about their readiness to go to American proposals, but so far no preparations of the Russian army are not recorded for real silence, – the President of Ukraine states.

According to him, for a while After Easter, the occupier restored the usual assault activity for them.

– And every day of such battles on the front proves it is quite obvious that Russia is really trying to deceive the world – to deceive America and others – to continue to delay this war. And so pressure is needed. Without pressure, that the Russians go to all steps, go to everything they need to stop the war. Yesterday’s meetings in the Vatican and Rome confirmed that our partners understand what was happening. Ukraine is ready to move as quickly as possible in diplomacy. We 47 days ago agreed to the American proposal of the unconditional ceasefire, and later we gave the Russians our own proposals: to stop strikes on civilian objects – at least. But there, in Moscow, they respond to Shahaneda, rockets, artillery and new storms. A proper answer from the world is needed – the answer with new sanctions and even more pressure. Of course, America can take the most tangible steps – tangible to Russia, ”Zelensky said.

He noted that only 150 shock drones were applied against Ukraine today. From March 11 – when America, in negotiations in Saudi Arabia, offered a complete and unconditional ceasefire – the Russians used almost eight and a half thousand aviation, almost two hundred rockets of different types, almost three thousand “Shahmed”. The vast majority of them – in ordinary cities, civilian targets.

– This must be stopped. Russia should stop strokes – and of course. I thank everyone in the world who helps us in this, who helps to make diplomacy strong, – the President said.
