Svitolina disassembled Rybakin and went out to the 1/8 finals

The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina (WTA 17) continues the victorious course at the prestigious WTA 1000 in Madrid (Spain), which is held on soil courts.

In the 3rd Round, Ukrainian in two sets beat the 11th racket of the world Elena Rybakin from Kazakhstan in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

During the match, Elina never gave her serving (rescued two breaks) and made two breaks.

Svitolina and Rybakina conducted a sixth full -time confrontation. The Ukrainian leveled the score, winning the third victory and the first since 2021, when she beat Kazakhstan in the match for the third place at the Tokyo Olympics.

The next rival of Elina will be Maria Sakkari, who earlier in her third circle match was Jasmine Paolini. Svitolin started in the capital of Spain from the second round, where Sonay Kartal knocked out.

Svitolina became the third representative of Ukraine after Yulia Starodubtseva and Martha Kostyuk, who managed to reach the 1/8 finals on these courts.

Elina won two victories in Madrid for the first time in her career and will play for the first time in the fourth circle. In total, there are five victories and nine defeats in the capital of Spain.

Elina won the ninth match in a row. Prior to the start of the Tsarida in Madrid, Ukrainian won in two matches for the Ukrainian national team in the Billy Cup qualification, Gin King, and last week took the trophy in Rouen, having overcome five opponents on her way.
