Their last meeting took place on November 17, 2024 as part of the match of the national teams of Ukraine and Austria in the Billy Cup playoff, Gin King. It was the fourth game, the national team of Ukraine at that time was inferior to 1: 2, and Katarina had no right to mistake. The 25-year-old Ukrainian coped with psychological pressure and beat Austrian in two sets-6: 2, 7: 5. The match was held on the Harde Cortta McKinny in Dallas (USA).

Earlier, the athletes met at the Wimbledon-2021 qualification and at the ITF soil tournament in San Sebastian (Spain) in 2022. In those matches the Austrian tennis player was stronger.

This season, Julia Grabeer shows a very stable tennis on the soil: 14 matches – 14 wins. On April 6, Julia won the ITF W35 soil tournament in Santa Margerita Di-Pula (Italy), and on April 20 it was already triumphant at the ITF W75 tournament in Copper (Slovenia).

Katarina Zavatska played only 7 matches on the soil this season: 6 wins and 1 defeat. However, in the asset of the Ukrainians the six -week victorious series, during which Catarin gave only one set for rivals.
