Google’s parent company has initiated negotiations with Dixon Technologies and Foxconn manufacturers to transfer part of the global production of Google Pixel from Vietnam to India. First of all, it is about gadgets intended for further export to the US, writes The Economic Times.
In particular, Google wants to concentrate in India the production of components such as chargers, batteries, fingerprints and the device. Now most Pixel components are imported. Google partners in India are also known to produce 43-45 thousand Pixel phones per month, mainly focusing on the India market.
