“Due to the condition of the body … and through mummification, according to the results of forensic examination, the causes of death could not be established. Therefore, the samples were selected and the issue with the participation of French experts is currently resolved to carry out additional forensic examination to establish the causes of death, ”Belusov said.
He also said that on the body of the journalist they found numerous signs of torture, including garden and hemorrhage on different parts of the body, and a rib was also broken. In addition, experts found possible signs of electric current. Belousov added that this information will be specified during additional forensic examination.
“The bodily injuries were caused by life. Therefore there is a high probability that to her (Victoria Roshchina – Ed.) Torture was used. Regarding the causes of death, dates and places involved, information is established, ”Belousov said.
He said that the death of the journalist came when she was in the territory controlled by the aggressor Russia.
