The musical event will be held for the third time in Switzerland.
“Eurovision-2025” will be held in Basel 13, 15 and May 17 / UNIAN Collage, Screenshot InstagramEurovision is one of the main music events this year, which is not only the fans of the competition but the whole world. Traditionally, in 2025, an artist will be chosen, who will win his country, receive a crystal cup and “invite” Eurovision to his country.
There is fewer space left by the 69th International Song event. Already known to give semifinals and the finals of the show, the venue of the event and representatives of Ukraine at the competition.
Who won Eurovision 2024Last year, the NEMO singers won the music competition. They represented Switzerland on the show. The artists position themselves as a non -infinite person and do not want to be associated with one article. When addressing them, NEMO is asked to use the pronouns “they” and “you”.
They performed on Eurovision with the song “The Code”, which combined elements of rap and pipstille. With their track, NEMO tried to convey how important it is to accept yourself – whatever you may be. In particular, the performers sang about the fight against the pressure of public expectations, the courage to be themselves – outside the gender, roles, conventions.
Where is the Eurovision 2025This year the competition will be held in SwitzerlandSince the winners were the NEMO – artists from this country last year. Basel was the place for the international show. The city is already actively preparing for Eurovision, which will take place in St. Jakobshalle.
Preparation for the competition and the construction of the scene, where participants from different countries will perform with their compositions, are currently underway. This is the third time the event will take place in Switzerland. Earlier, the country hosted the competition in 1956 (Lugano) and in 1989 (Lozanne).
When Eurovision 2025 is datesThe first Eurovision semi -final in 2025 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13. On this day, representatives of Ukraine will appear in the international arena. In addition to our country, 14 more countries will compete in the finals.
The second semifinals will take place on Thursday, May 15. During it, 19 countries will introduce their countries, three of which will automatically get to the finals. The name of the winner “Eurovision-2025” will become known May 17th During the Grand Finals of the Contest.

In the Grand Final, representatives of the Great Five States (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom) and the host country of the Contest Swiss. Moldova has previously refused to participate in the show because of the low interest of citizens in Eurovision and economic problems.

Eurovision 2025 – Who will represent UkraineUkraine will be introduced at the show Ziferblat this year. They will perform in the competition with the song “Bird of Pray” at number 5 in the first semifinals. The participants of the staff Fedir Khodakov, Daniel and Valentin Leshchinsky won the national selection at Eurovision-2025, receiving the highest scores from the audience.
By the way, the first place in the Ukrainian competition managed to take on the third attempt. They promise to present a bright room on Eurovision that will be different from their performance at the National Selection. Musicians plan to impress Eurofans with new stage images and production.
We will remind, earlier the band Ziferblat replied whether it plans to speak about the war in Ukraine at Eurovision-2025. In 2025, the Code of Rules will be in force at the competition, according to which any political statements are prohibited. Because of this, the contestants, in particular, the Ukrainian band will not be able to speak directly about the war. However, the musicians launched a social project to help Ukrainians, and with the help of a song they want to tell about the suffering of Ukrainians.
