According to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the main purpose today is the victory of Ukraine and preserving its statehood. He stressed that Parliament has already taken steps, reducing the mobilization age from 27 to 25 years, and it is possible to conclude a contract with the armed forces for voluntary participation in the country’s protection.
Stefanchuk noted that the Parliament will not change the conscript age and “play” with it, because it is important to think not only about defense but also about the future of Ukraine.
“That” Golden Fund “of Ukraine, to whom now is from 0 to 18 years, they will go down the country after victory,” he emphasized.
He also stressed that the Armed Forces are fighting for these young people so that they have the opportunity to live and develop their country in a peaceful future.
“I think Parliament will not return to this issue – about reducing the age of mobilization,” Stefanchuk added.
Earlier, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky explained that in Ukraine all data on mobilization are currently confidential. The enemy can find out the plans of the country in case of disclosure of information.
Committee Secretary Roman Kostenko (Voice faction) stated that the issue of mobilization of women in the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence was not considered.
