Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk stated that the Verkhovna Rada would not return to the issue of reducing mobilization age.

Stefanchuk said this in an interview with Public Radio.

The speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament reminded that at one time the Council has already reduced the mobilization age from 27 to 25 years, and now Ukrainian youth have the opportunity to conclude a contract with the armed forces and voluntarily join the state protection.

“I don’t think Parliament will somehow“ play ”with a conscript age” Stefanchuk emphasized.

In addition to reflecting the attacks of the aggressor, you need to think about the future of the country, about people under 18 years, who will rebuild Ukraine after victory.

The Committee Secretary Roman Kostenko (Voice faction) stated that the issue of mobilization of women in the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence was not considered.

Earlier, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky explained that in Ukraine all data on mobilization are currently confidential. The enemy can find out the plans of the country in case of disclosure of information.
