General Staff: There were 165 combat clashes on the front per day

165 combat clashes were recorded at the front during the last day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the morning of April 22.

The most clashes were in the Pokrovsky direction. «Our defenders stopped 61 assault and offensive action of the aggressor in areas of settlements of Sukha Balka, Mirolyubivka, Elizabeth, Sukha Yar, Water Second, Kotline, Uspenivka, Novoleksandrivka, Nadiyivka, Troitskoye, Tarasivka, Promyka, Lisovka. The direction of Alexandropol, Novopavlivka, Berezivka, ”the message reads.

In addition, according to the General Staff, in the Lyman direction Russian troops attacked 25 times, in Toretsky – 23, in Kursk – 21, on Novopavlovsky – 19.

The fighting also lasted at Kupyansk, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Orikhiv, Dnieper.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is mainly recorded there.

On the eve of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on April 20, on the day of the Kremlin, the Russian Army was declared at the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements 1882 shelling, in particular 33-from the reactive systems of the volley fire, and attracted 957 drones.
