The ex-world weight champion met in the ring (up to 79.4 kg) Alexander Carnation (21-2, 16 KOs, Ukraine) and American Anthony Hollowy (9–8–3, 7 KO).
The Ukrainian boxer knocked the opponent in the third round and can now count on the title match. Earlier, a carnation reported that he was offered a battle against a regular WBA World Champion David Morrel (Cuba).
On the eve of a duel with Hollovoy Boxer from Ukraine came to support the legendary ex-world champion and the head of the promotional company Golden Boy Promoctions Oscar de la Hoya. He wished the Ukrainian good luck in the duel, talked with him a little and took a joint photo.
