“Ukraine and the United States of America have signed a memorandum that certifies the constructive joint work of our teams and the intention to finalize and enter into an agreement that will be beneficial to both our peoples,” she said.
The minister added that the parties are preparing the creation of the Investment Fund for Ukraine. The agreement, she said, will open up opportunities for investment, modernization of infrastructure and mutually beneficial partnership of Ukraine and the United States – “for this purpose of the team are working on the document”:
“It is important that we confirm our agreements with the desire of the American people to invest together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign and safe Ukraine.”

Sviridenko said that the next steps will be the finalization of the text of the agreement, its signing and further ratification by parliaments.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that The mineral agreement is ready and he expects it to be signed next Thursday.
Before that, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported at a briefing that a memorandum of intention to conclude an agreement can be signed today.
On the eve Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko reported that The technical teams of Ukraine and the US “worked very thoroughly” on the mineral agreement.

The Ukrainian and American sides, she said, agreed to record these achievements in the appropriate memorandum of intentions and are preparing to complete the formalization of the agreement in the near future.
On March 24, US President Donald Trump saidthat expects that an agreement with Ukraine on minerals will be signed soon. Subsequently, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky confirmed that the United States is preparing a new deal of agreement. According to him, the US side offered Kiev a “big deal”.
