On Saturday, April 19, Ukraine and Russia conducted a great exchange of prisoners. On the eve of Easter, 277 defenders were released from Russian captivity. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.

The President added that from the beginning of a full -scale war, 4552 people have been returned home from Russian captivity – these are military personnel and civilians. Zelensky assured that Ukraine remembers everyone who is in captivity and work on their return never stops.
