“Today (April 17, – ed.), A step to the United States jointly made an economic partnership agreement. Ukraine and the United States of America have signed a memorandum that testifies to the constructive joint work of our teams and the intention to finalize and conclude an agreement that will be profitable to both our peoples,” the official said.
Sviridenko also stated that the Ukrainian side is preparing the creation of the Investment Fund for Ukraine.
“The relevant agreement will open up opportunities for significant investments, modernization of infrastructure and mutually beneficial partnership of Ukraine and the United States – for this purpose, the team is working on the document,” the official’s publication reads.
Sviridenko emphasized the importance of what “we confirm our agreements with the desire of the American people to invest together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign and safe Ukraine.”
“Ahead is the finalization of the text of the agreement and its signing.
Sviridenko also grateful to “our technical teams – Ukrainian and American – for professional, constructive and fast work.”
We will remind, on April 17, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine and the US can already sign a memorandum of intentions under the mineral agreement. The head of state also added that work on the part of lawyers is still ongoing on the agreement.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine and the United States are ready to sign the Economic Partnership Agreement and the establishment of the Investment Fund for Ukraine. It is a so -called fossil agreement.
The official delegation from Ukraine went to Washington to negotiate a new agreement, which provides US access to Ukrainian fossils.
