The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine during 2024-2025 has concluded contracts for UAV supply with 76 manufacturers for UAH 104.2 billion.
According to the defense department, such figures were voiced by the Director of the Department of Procurement of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Gleb Kanevsky. It is noted that the Defense Procurement Agency is currently working with:
▪️36 manufacturers of FPV-oules-maneuverable small devices for point damage of goals that are actively used on the line of combat collision;
▪️14 manufacturers of copter bombers-are able to discharge ammunition from air for hostile purposes with high accuracy;
▪️12 manufacturers of reconnaissance aircraft, drones-wing-provide deep aero-intelligence and fire adjustments;
▪️5 Deepstrike manufacturers – designed for long distances of more than 400 km on the opponent’s rear objects;
▪️5 by aircraft -type shock -type percussion drones – capable of carrying ammunition and returning to the base after completing the task;
▪️3 Manufacturers of Kamikadze small radius aircraft-to damage the goals in the tactical depth;
▪️1 air target manufacturer – imitate enemy drones or planes for training and air defense tests.
Last year, the defense industry of Ukraine produced products for $ 9 billion, providing a third of all economic growth of the country.
In 2024, Ukraine released a record number of artsystems, long-range and FPV. In this case, 40% were made at its own expense. This year it is planned to be released even more.
