The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the decision to allocate UAH 1.8 billion in support of 180 communities located in nine frontier regions.
Funding will be received by settlements of Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions. The funds will be directed to the most necessary needs, in particular:
- Conducting a recovery work after hostile attacks,
- Construction of protective shelters,
- Purchase of specialized equipment for utilities,
- Repair of critical infrastructure, including thermal and gas networks.
This decision was made to execute President Vladimir Zelensky’s order. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal emphasized that the state puts the shoulder to those communities that need it most.
Earlier, we wrote that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal stated that this year the key areas of joint work of the Ukrainian platform donors will be budget support, sustained funding for the reconstruction of infrastructure, housing, energy, economic development and attracting investments on the EU.
It should also be reminded that the government has allocated UAH 500 million for disciplines in the framework of preparation for reform of high school profile.
