“The Armed Forces of Ukraine have developed changes to the program of basic general military training (BZVP), which will reduce the burden on servicemen suitable for service in securing security, security units, territorial centers of staffing and social support, higher military educational institutions, training centers, institutions, medical units. The corresponding decision was made by the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ”the message reads.
According to the General Staff, starting on May 1, these categories of servicemen will be held by BZVP under the updated program, which provides:
- shortening the preparation period to one month (instead of 45 days);
- reducing the level of physical activity;
- Formation of individual educational units (mouth or platoons).
“The changes apply to both servicemen who have just been called for the service and those who have previously been trained in military training departments or for various reasons, the BZVP is repeated. It is about the former category of “restricted”, which, according to changes in the legislation, should be served exclusively in the rear parts-according to the decision of the Military Medical Commission “,-the message reads.
Earlier, on February 12, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill, under which the military men from 25 to 60 years, previously recognized as limited to the service, should undergo a medical examination by June 5, 2025. It used to be done before February 4.
On February 12, the deputy chairman of the Presidential Office Irina Vereshchuk stated that the term for the re -passing of the VLK is unlikely to continue again after June 5, so she urged not to delay the medical examination.
