“Georgian 200”: In the war against Ukraine, the military who participated in the crackdown of the Maidan were killed

On the website of the Project “Georgian 200”, which document the death of the Crimeans, who fought for Russia in the war against Ukraine, 33 new necrologists have appeared over the last two weeks, including former staff of law enforcement agencies who participated in the occupation of Crimea and acceleration of Euromaidan.

One of the dead – Yevgeny Kozlov from the village of Lenino, a former employee of the Crimean Berkut, who stood at checkpoints in the spring of 2014. Another – Cyril Blazhenko, he participated in the suppression of the Maidan in Kiev, was an active participant in the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014. According to the reporters of Radio Liberty Crimea. Realities, who created the Database of Georgian 200, Buzhenko in 2017 sought a job driver in Yalta, in a resume wrote that from 2010 to 2015 he was a “commander of the intelligence landing department”.

In the Crimea, the funerals of the Russian Federation, who died in the war against Ukraine, are almost daily. On December 19, 2024, the Realities published the Grub 200 database with the first thousand identified Crimeans who fought in the Russian army and died in the war of Russia against Ukraine.

The list contains information about the place of birth, place of call or recruitment to the Russian army (including the actual military unit), as well as for part of the dead – the exact or approximate place and date of death.

To date, the number of identified Krimans in the war on the side of Russia against Ukraine has exceeded 1300 people.
