“I just realized how much tired. She (Sofia Kenin) started playing a high level, there were several games, in which I could neither take her serve nor hold her. It was very windy, it was really difficult to play. It was necessary to lose concentration or stop moving with your feet for a second – and everything changed immediately. And for both of us the conditions were the same.
In the second set, I just wanted to hold the feed, I wanted to say to myself: “Just pick up a little rotation in front of the third state.” Because it is always difficult to enter the third set after a fair second. I knew I could make a break. Although, honestly, I did not think that I would take three in a row, but fortunately, it was possible to show a good tennis.
I think my perseverance has brought me a lot of victories this week. Especially on the soil are important endurance and nature, because the flow here is not so effective, less light points.
