The death of the head of the Left Bank City Administration of the Dnieper Yuriy Fedko was qualified as a terrorist attack as a result of an explosion of a car in the city of Dnipro. In order to investigate the crime, an investigative commission was created with all law enforcement agencies, which considers three main versions.
The National Police of Ukraine reports about it.
The explosion report came to the police today around 07:40. The first deputy chairman of the National Police worked on the spot – the head of the Chief Investigative Directorate Maxim Tsuziridze, the management of the SUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the SBU and the prosecutor’s office. Unfortunately, a few hours after the explosion, the official died in the hospital.
On this fact, criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 258 K (terrorist act).
The scene has now been inspected, material evidence has been collected and a complex of investigative and prompt measures is being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the crime and to disclose it.
The operational meeting identified three main versions: a crime commissioned by Russian special services for the destabilization of the situation in the state, hostile relationships of the victim with a probable criminal, the professional activity of the victim.
We will remind that in the Dnieper as a result of the explosion of his own car the local official and his wife died, reported in the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk region. Law enforcement officers do not name the name of the official, one source of “public” noted that the head of the Left Bank Administration of the Dniprovsk City Council Yuriy Fedko was injured.
