The court replaced the Colonel Lapin’s restraint to house arrest

On April 4, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv granted the prosecutor’s request to change the precautionary measure to a 24-hour house arrest with the opportunity to attend treatment establishments for the former commander of the 415th Battalion of the 125th Brigade of Troy Colonel Elijah Lapina.

The report states that given the old age of the former commander, numerous diseases, as well as the deterioration of health, the prosecutor of the OGP filed a request to the Pechersk District Court of Kiev to change his pre -trial detention.

As a result of consideration of the prosecutor’s request, the court decided to change Lapin’s precautionary measure.

The pre -trial investigation in criminal proceedings is ongoing, added to OGP.

On January 21, the Pechersk District Court of Kiev chose precautions for three high -ranking officials of the Armed Forces, who are suspected of improper defense during the offensive to the north of Kharkiv region in 2024. Colonel Ilya Lapina was then arrested for 60 days.

On March 20, the court extended the term of detention for Lapin until May 17. He then declared a hunger strike.
